Hi my name is Ella!
I have been in care for many months now and I am now ready to find my forever home.
I came in to care with my own four babies and I took care of my kittens and doted on them constantly even though I wasn’t too sure what I was doing. After my kittens grew up and found their forever homes I still had a few things to work on, my confidence and learning to trust the world.
I was very shy and for the first month in care I didn’t leave the safety of the dark space under a bed. Slowly but surely I came out of the darkness and discovered that this was a safe home. No one was going to hurt me, but I was still afraid.
I didn’t want my foster mum to touch me and any loud noise or sudden movement would frighten me a lot.
After months of patience, courage and lots of love I’ve learnt to trust my foster mum and now she gives me chin scratches (which I love) and I even let her pat my belly sometimes.
I have a very cute personality, I love my food, I love my bed and I love to catch bugs.
I hope to find a quiet forever home with only adults as children can be a little overwhelming for me. I like other cats but only if they will give me my space and unfortunately I wouldn’t like sharing a home with dogs.
I hope there is a family out there for me as I’ve been patiently waiting for my time to shine.
Ella is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
