Hello human. I’m Franklin and I’m meant to be the alpha male of my litter. But I’m not. I’m a sensitive soul. I love a good cuddle and attention from my owners.
My sisters beat me up. I’ve learnt to hold my own when they gang up on me. I love to play but mum says I’m a lover, not a fighter.
I’m looking for a home where I can become a real part of the family. I’m not content just to hang around, I want to be a real meaningful part of your life. I love cuddles and reassurance and I purr in your arms when I feel safe and loved.
I’ve been in care with my litter mates, and my foster family consists of two resident cats, a dog, three chickens, a toddler, a baby and two adult hoomans. When I first arrived here I hid in a cupboard for 12 hours because the baby squawked at me, but I’m slowly getting used to the chaos of the household. With a gradual and gentle introduction I’m sure I could adapt to any loving home, even those with squawking babies. I’d really love another cat sibling to snuggle with, or even be adopted with one of my litter mates.
If you are thinking of adopting me please remember I’m only little for a short while and I want to be loved for 20 years. If you treat my as your child, I promise to enrich your life with loyalty, company and love.
Geelong Animal Rescue also asks that cats are kept as indoor only pets, or with access to a secure outside pen.
I come desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations (as at the date of adoption) and also litter trained.
