Frederick is the name, snuggling is my game. I’m a handsome traditional Siamese cat, right down to my fancy-pants markings, stocky little legs and my bright blue eyes. I’m a simple fella and I guess you could say I take a Garfield-like approach to life – love me, feed me, never leave me.
I’m a very gentle and well-behaved cat; I always use my litter tray, you can pick me up without struggle and I don’t bite or scratch. I also don’t tend to jump up on things unless invited, so your kitchen bench is safe. My foster family think I’m odd because I’ll roll over for anyone as long as they rub my belly, but I just think they have no idea what they’re missing out on!
In typical Siamese fashion, I am extremely talkative so my new family will have to be prepared to listen to me chat to them all day and especially when they come home – I just have to tell you all about what I had for lunch, did you know the neighbours were painting their fence today and how many times do I have to tell you that it’s entirely unacceptable to not give me your undivided attention the moment I demand it?!
Additionally, also in typical Siamese fashion, I am very needy when it comes to affection and if I don’t get enough attention I become a bit sad and flat. Due to this my ideal forever home would be with someone who works from home, studies or just a household that tends to have someone around for the majority of the day.
I tend to find young children a bit overwhelming due to the noise and excitement, but I think older kids and teenagers would be just fine. I haven’t been properly tested with other cats or dogs, but maybe I’d enjoy having a feline friend to chat to during the day while my family is away?
Fredrick is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
