Meet Charlie – A sweet old soul looking for his final couch!
This dear little man is looking for a very special home to spend his twilight days. We're unsure of his exact age; but our guess is around 10-12 years old. He may be a bit wobbly, a bit sleepy, and need some extra TLC — but he has a heart full of love and the cuddliest soul you could ever meet.
Charlie has been through a lot, arriving in foster care underweight and not feeling the best. But now - his coat is lush, he's put on weight, enjoying his soft meals and sunny spots for snoozing.
His Ideal Day Includes:
- Cuddles on the couch
- Short potters around a secure yard
- A cozy bed (preferably near his people)
- Lots of naps
Now, Charlie has some very special needs and ongoing medical conditions that you must be prepared to continue on with.
His Special Needs:
- Charlie has very limited vision & hearing
- Due to some dental work needed, he has no teeth so requires a soft diet
- Daily medicated eyedrops, which also help produce artificial tears
- Charlie also has a heart murmur which will require ongoing medication
- Due to his special circumstances, he is unable to use a doggy door, this can lead to some very occasional toileting accidents when in an unfamiliar environment
- Looooves to sleep and will only be awake for 1-2 hours total most days
- Six-monthly blood tests to monitor his liver and potential Cushing’s disease
- Ongoing management for sinus tracts
We are looking for someone who can offer him comfort, companionship, and cuddles in his final chapter.

A quiet, calm home with someone who’s around most of the day. Someone who understands that Charlie is in his twilight years and wants to give him the golden ending he deserves.
