Hi! I'm Dorothy, Dotty or Doots.

I arrived at GAR just before Christmas and my absolute favourite thing to do is playing Fetch with my pompom! I will play ALL DAY! I will meow at you to throw it for me, over and over again.

When it’s time for a break, you can find me nearby, on foster Mums lap, lounging in the sun or at the top of the cat tower, like the princess I am!

I have the softest fur, and the sweetest little meow. I enjoy ‘helping’ with household chores - sweeping and supervising the folding of laundry. I love to play! In boxes, with the rainbow string toy, zooming with other cats, licky treats and dinner time. I love watching bird TV out the window. At night, I like to sleep on the bed, but once I hear movement, I will bring my toys because it’s time to PLAY!
I can be a little bit shy when I first meet new people, but if you give me some time, I'll show you my best side, showering you in big purrs, and following you around.

I would like another cat friend in my new home to keep me company. I am tolerant of older children once I have decided they are safe, and foster mum thinks I would suit most families. I have met a few dogs, and I think I could like with a calm dog, after a slow introduction. I've been an indoor only kitty while in foster care and must continue this in my forever home for my own safety and the safety of our wildlife.

Dorothy is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
