Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is an absolute heart-melter!
She's sweet, affectionate and snuggly, and has stolen so many hearts with her beautiful and emotional eyes.
Food is Bonnie's love language, and she'll do anything for a treat - which makes training a breeze. She knows basic commands and is responsive to guidance. She is sensitive to feelings and emotions, and is eager to please. Bonnie is crate-comfortable and generally walks nicely on a leash, although she can sometimes be curious and loves discovering and sniffing new things.
Bonnie currently does not live with another dog but generally gets along well with other dogs she has met outside of home, including on walks and in group classes/play sessions.
Bonnie can spend a few hours comfortably inside the crate once she is familiar with the setting. She is still learning to be independent in the backyard when her foster people are at work. She is currently on Trazodone to help manage her separation anxiety, she has been showing steady progress and should be able to manage her anxiety better without medication soon. An Adaptil collar and some natural supplements with L-Tryptophan (such as ZammiPets) will likely be helpful either in the transition period or for the long run, depending on the ongoing training and the environment in her forever home.
Bonnie is totally toilet trained and her only indoor accidents were during her first week of settling into her foster home.
Bonnie thrives on the attention and cuddles of her people, and would love a home where either someone is around more often than not, or where she has a dog companion. If you are a full time worker and intend to have Bonnie as the only dog, we believe she will enjoy spending time in a Doggy Daycare while you are out for a full-day work.
Bonnie has not lived with a cat or children under the age of 16, but she has been polite and friendly to cats and kids she has seen on the street.
Bonnie is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments.
**Note: Bonnie is due for her booster vaccination on 29th of June
