Meet Honey: Your next cuddle buddy, who is just as sweet as her name!

Honey's Vibe:
She is a real sweetheart and wants nothing more than to be with people. She thrives off affection and would love a home where she can hang out on the couch binge watching TV shows on Netflix.
While Honey doesn't live with kids she has met a few and is very gentle and sweet with them. She can be a bit nervous sometimes so she needs a home with older more dog savvy kids, or preferably no kids until she gains just a little more confidence.

As Honey is a bit on the sensitive side, she can get easily overwhelmed when meeting dogs and can become a little snappy and scared. She does currently live with an old Bulldog and they coexist well together but have never played or acknowledged each other really. Honey has had some good interactions with other dogs and may potentially enjoy having a dog friend in the future but right now she must go to an only dog household.

Due to her nervousness with dogs she can be a little bit reactive when on the lead. She has been doing really well with her training and is very manageable at the moment and will only get better with more training and confidence building. Honey does walk excellent on the lead, she happily trots along beside you and does enjoy stopping to sniff just about every flower she sees.
Training Honey has been a little bit of a challenge as she isn't always food motivated but she does love affection. She does know some basic obedience and is currently working on her recall, as she loves her people this is going pretty well.

Honey is just over 18 months old, she is medium sized and weighs roughly 18kgs. Her coat is thick but not super long, while she won't need trimming unless necessary she will need regular brushing to avoid matting especially around her ears and on her tail. While she is mixed with a Poodle she is not non-shedding and does drop a fair amount of hair. Honey is used to being brushed regularly and does enjoy her little pamper session.

Honey would love a home where she is the centre of attention and the only pet in the household. She needs to be allowed inside to hang out with her favourite people and would love if her people didn't work full time and could spend more time at home with her. While Honey does ok when being left alone for short periods, she doesn't like being away from people for too long and will get anxious. Honey needs a home where her owners will continue her confidence building and advocate for her space when she encounters other dogs on walks.

If you're looking for a new best friend to watch TV with and enjoy strolls around the neighbourhood sniffing all the flowers than Honey is your girl!

Honey is crate trained, toilet trained, and knows how to use a doggy door.

Honey is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming treatments.
