Maple is not a show-off. She’s not a diva. She’s just Maple — sweet, observant, and always watching with those heartbreakingly huge eyes. Maple can be a little reserved at first but she’s also incredibly friendly once she feels safe. Give her a minute — and the right head scratch — and you’ll unlock the purr motor she’s been hiding under all that quiet charm. Maple is not only a total sweetheart — she’s also playful with a touch of cheeky sass. Once she feels at home, her curious, fun side shines through.

Maple loves coming over for a good head scratch and will happily curl up in your lap for cuddles, but she’s still not a big fan of being picked up. And when she chooses you for affection, it feels extra special!

Maple is tight with her foster bestie, Happy. They explore together, nap together, and occasionally judge the humans together. She’s intrigued by the grumpy old resident cat, and diplomatically avoids the dog — no drama, no fuss. She’s also adapted like a pro to the chaos of life with small kids and two other pets.
