Hello, I'm Nugget! I’m on the hunt for my forever (and ever-ever) home!

According to my foster fam, I’m sweet enough to give you a toothache. I’m also very well-behaved, basically the canine equivalent of a weighted blanket. My perfect day? A short stroll, followed by an award-winning belly rub and a nice breakfast!

I’ve just had my cherry eyes fixed, and I’ve bounced back better than ever. My new foster brother, Alfred the Dachshund (age 3), has tried to test me, but my calm, chilled temperament finally won him over.

I know my basic commands, and with a few more snacks (I mean training sessions), I’ll be pulling off tricks that would make even the goodest dogs jealous. I walk nicely on a lead - just not too far, okay? I’m more of a “stroll and sniff” kind of guy rather than a long-distance runner.

I don’t bark much unless my foster brother starts. When I’ve been left alone, I’ve handled it like an independent king (albeit I still have a friend with my foster bro around). I haven’t met small kids or cats yet, but based on my attitude, I think I'll do just fine with the correct slow introduction given.

Note: I do have a mild shoe obsession. I won’t eat them (usually), but I might “relocate” your sneakers to the backyard. I'm also still learning some toilet manners, and can sometimes tinkle in the house, although I'm doing much better with my family's guidance. I do require regular grooming so my forever family must be prepared to keep me looking as handsome as I can.

I’m looking for a home that’s as relaxed as I am. Whether you’ve got kids, pets, or just a Netflix subscription, I’m happy as long as I’m spending time with my humans.

Nugget is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
