Beatrice, (aka Queen Bea) rules the roost at her foster home. She is a beautiful, affectionate cat who was surrendered to GAR due to no fault of her own.
Bea likes to know what’s going on and when, and is especially interested in helping out in the kitchen. Her preference is to settle near you, rather than on you – so if you’re after a lap cat, Beatrice is unlikely to fit the bill.
Beatrice does have access to a cat run which she loves to spend time in; someone committed to providing a similar set up or being highly vigilant keeping her inside is important; Bea has proven to be quite determined and can be speedy if she wants to escape.
Beatrice currently resides with several other cats as well as two cat-savvy dogs. While she has not formed any loving bonds with these pets, she may be able integrate into a house with existing pets, if given time. We also suspect she would be happy to be an only cat, as long as someone is home to give her the love and attention she demands. When she wants it.
Likes: lying in the middle of the hallway (or kitchen walkway) + investigating any open cupboard
Dislikes: being shut in any open cupboard when you’re finished with it, because, clearly, she’s not
Beatrice is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
