Meet Ella!

A cutie with big, expressive eyes and a gentle soul.

Ella is the kind of cat who needs time, patience, and understanding. Once you earn her trust, the bond you build with her is incredibly special and absolutely worth the wait.

She isn’t quick to give her love, preferring to quietly observe from a safe space while she settles in and learns her surroundings. In a new home, Ella may spend the first few weeks tucked away under the bed where she feels most secure. Even once she becomes comfortable and starts spending more time out and about, she will still likely retreat and hide when unfamiliar visitors come to the house.

Ella’s new family will need to respect her boundaries and allow her to come to them in her own time. Affection can’t be rushed with this sweet girl, but when she decides you’re trustworthy, you’ll be rewarded with head pats requests, affectionate smooches, and cosy lap naps, especially first thing in the morning or when you arrive home after being out.

Watching Ella slowly blossom and gain confidence is an incredibly rewarding experience. Beneath her cautious exterior is a playful, affectionate kitten who just wants to feel safe and loved.

Ella’s dislikes being picked up and loud noises or sudden movements. Because of her sensitive nature, Ella would not be suited to a home with children. She would likely thrive best as the only cat in the household, though with time and once fully settled, a calm feline companion may potentially be introduced in the future.

Ella is looking for a gentle, patient person or couple who will continue helping her grow into the confident queen she’s meant to be.

Ella has been indoor only in foster care and due to her nature, she must continue this in her forever home for her own safety.

Ella is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
