This beautiful girl was let down badly by her former people. Cast out when heavily pregnant, she found herself at a pound giving birth to 11 babies.
Fortunately GAR stepped in and Mumma and babies where taken to a foster home when the babies where 4 days old.
The babies are now grown up and it's time to find Ellie a forever home.
Ellie is a 4 year old greyhound X. She can sit, drop, and walks well on lead. She has been living with 3 very large dogs with no issue even at meal times. She does love being an inside dog but does spend time outdoors too.
She is a bit obsessive with food, if not supervised she will eat hers and everybody elses food if allowed.
She is a sweet girl who loves her cuddles but will take herself off to bed, so is not an 'in your face' type of dog.
She is going through a second puppy-hood (hormone levels coming down) and does dig and is a bit of a magpie taking things to chew or nest with. If her forever home can give her plenty of exercise and social outings this should abate with time.
It would be lovely if Ellie can go to a family with another dog for companionship, she would be okay as an only dog as long as she is not left for long periods of time.
Ellie would be suitable for a whole range of people, families with children over 10, couples, singles or retirees. She has not been tested with cats.
Can you see yourself giving this sweet girl a forever home?
Ellie is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatment.
