Hi, I’m Gracie!

I’m a young mama who had to grow up very quickly. I brought four gorgeous boys into the world when I was still a kitten myself, and I took my job very seriously. Now that my kittens are growing up, I’m finally ready to let go of my motherly duties and discover what life is like when I get to be the centre of attention.

I’m a very affectionate, gentle girl who loves belly rubs, cuddles, and rubbing up against my people to make sure you know I’m there. I also have the sweetest habit of softly nudging my humans with my nose or head to ask for love or attention. I’m a proud lap cat, and when I curl up with you, I’ll gently knead my paws and bake you some biscuits, it’s my way of saying I feel safe and loved.

I have a soft, grey, velvety coat that’s perfect for cuddling, and I’ve been told my eyes are quite something. They can look a little intense at times, but that’s only because I’m looking at you with so much love.

Food is one of my favourite things, and I have a very special place in my heart for roast chicken. You’ll usually find me nearby when something tasty is happening in the kitchen, I just like to know what’s on offer! I also love my naps, particularly when I can find a warm, cosy spot to rest.

I’m still gaining weight after a tough start in life, however I have made great progress! When I came from the pound, I was very malnourished and quite exhausted, as all the food I ate went straight to helping my kittens grow. With time, good meals, and plenty of rest, I’m slowly blossoming into the happy, healthy girl I was always meant to be.

Because of my calm, gentle nature, I would suit most homes. I have been tested with other adult cats and got along well with them, so I would be happy in a home with another friendly cat. I haven’t been tested with dogs yet. Thanks to my patience and gentle temperament, I would also be a lovely companion for families with younger children.

For my own safety — and to protect our precious native wildlife — I’ll need to be kept as an indoor only gal.

I can’t wait to find my forever home: a place where I can leave my motherly duties behind and be loved as I deserve. I’m hoping for a kind, patient family who will help me bloom into a life full of love, attention, good food, and lots and lots of cuddles.
