Hello, my name is Luna!
I’m a friendly two-year-old Labrador that loves company. I was very well loved and trained in my original home, and it was only due to unforeseen circumstances that I’m on my way to meet my new family.
I’ve grown up sharing my yard with dogs, and love to wrestle and play with my furry mates. I especially love wrestling with other Labradors but have been friendly with very small dogs and puppies too. An older dog might be less excited for my enthusiasm to play, because I love playing with toys and especially a game of tug-of-war with any canine or human, I can convince to join me.
I really crave human attention, so I will need to go to a forever home where I will be included and fussed over, otherwise I feel left out. I’ll let you know about it too with a bit of sooky barking when I’m outside and can hear you’re in there! I’ve been improving, but still very clingy so if I can spend my days inside with my people when we’re not playing or walking together outside, I’ll be happy.
I’m very clever and walk well on the lead, sit for my food, stay when I’m told. As much as I love to be a bit cheeky if I can get away with it (like jump up on the couch without an invite), I am very pliable with food treats to learn more (hungry Lab!).
I haven’t been tested with cats or small children. Given I love to jump around and excitedly barge my way in for a pat I wouldn’t be suited to very small kids or someone a little frailer. I play well with humans that come to visit though, including older kids.
Luna is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
