Hi my name is Maisy and I am a little pocket rocket looking for love! Don't let my looks fool you, I may have lost one eye due to an accident that was not my fault and the other is now blind as I got in the way of an angry pussy cat but I am full of energy and life.
I love walks and can keep up with the best of them, I just need to be on a lead and have someone keep me out of dangers way. I do well at parks and open spaces. I'm a friendly girl who loves cuddles and attention and my foster mum can't believe how well I get around. I have a good memory of where things are in my living space. I have been enjoying running around on a big farm but I am keen to settle into my forever home.
She has lived in her own back yard but for a long time she and her friends have not ventured outside into the real world as mum/Dad were busy working hard. As the kids grew up the time for walks slipped on the list of thing to do.
You can tell just how loved Maisy has been with her friendliness towards humans, even the photographer fell in love with her!
She is totally blind but doesn't seemed to be bothered by it. She has a great memory around her living space but needs guidance out on walks so she doesn't walk into poles/fences or onto holes etc. She will sit when asked and will wait for food. Maisey has a good appetite with food. She can become a little anxious and bark when she is in her own place and other dogs come into it but they don't seem to bother her on walks. She is better traveling in the car sitting with a passenger to feel safe and this stops the nervous/excitable barking.
I came into foster care with my 5 year old sister, Ruby. We would LOVE to be adopted together but if the perfect human family want to adopt me on my own that would be okay.
Due to Maisy being blind she will be best suited in a house with no other dogs and no smaller children as this may startle her a bit.

Maisey is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatment.
