Everyone, meet Maple!
Maple is on the hunt for her forever family! She is extremely affectionate and loves to be around people and other dogs. Whilst in foster care she has taken a liking to her resident foster brother cat and loves to snooze with him or play, so a home with a dog friendly cat would not be a problem.
Maple loves to play and will need a lot of stimulation and toy time! She is happy to independently play but loves even more when her foster siblings (pomeranian x's) get involved. If overstimulated, she does have a tendency to jump up on people in excitement, which given her size, is something that her new family would need to commit more training to correcting the behaviour.
She is crate trained and more than happy to spend time alone outside with access to her crate during the day while her foster family is at work. Although happy on her own during the day, her foster family think she would thrive best in a new home with another resident dog to keep her company and to avoid dependency/anxious attachments.
Given her young age, she is still in need of further basic training, as well as perfecting toilet training. As she grew up in a farm environment, she will need more leash training with her new owners, as she does pull with strength when she gets excited or spots another dog friend. She will also require regular dog washes, grooming (including weekly brushing), and trimming of the hair around her eyes.
Maple is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, flea & worming treatments.
