Meet, Mrs Miyagi!

Mrs Miyagi is a beautiful girl with a sweet, affectionate nature and a quiet way about her. She loves a cuddle and makes a wonderful companion. She prefers to take a moment to read the room first, before deciding where to settle in.

New people, smells and surroundings can be a little overwhelming for her, so she may initially find a safe spot and quietly observe. Once you give her the time and space to settle, her confidence will grow and before long, she'll be rewarding you with cuddles.

Mrs Miyagi is comfortable around calm, cat-friendly dogs and could happily share her home with the right one. She isn't particularly interested in unfamiliar cats, although she shares a special friendship with Luna who she is currently in foster care with. While they aren't a bonded pair, they would love to find a special home together.

Mrs Miyagi and Luna came into care after their beloved owner passed away. While still at their home, a fire was deliberately lit and both girls disappeared in the aftermath. Thankfully, they were eventually found and brought into care, where they've had plenty of time to feel safe, settled and simply be cats again.

Mrs Miyagi has lived happily indoors with access to a secure outdoor enclosure. Mrs Miyagi loves being able to enjoy sunshine, fresh air and all the sights and smells while remaining safely contained. Her forever home will need to provide lifelong indoor living with secure outdoor containment, such as a catio as an extra bonus. Given her history, we’d also ask her new family to be mindful around open flames/indoor fire places.

Mrs Miyagi doesn't need someone to rush her. She needs someone kind and patient who will give her the time to decide that she's home.
