Meet Peridot – your playful, sunshine loving princess.
Sweet, charming and full of personality, Peridot (affectionately known as Dotty) is a gorgeous girl who has truly come into her own. When she first arrived, she took a little time to build her confidence, but these days she struts around like she owns the place... and honestly, she kind of does! Whether she’s doing the cutest little zoomies down the hallway (complete with the most adorable pitter patter of tiny paws) or claiming the comfiest spot in the house, Peridot moves through life with a content and comfortable rhythm that’s impossible not to love.
She has that perfect balance of affectionate and independent. Peridot is more than happy to do her own thing, stretching out in a sunny patch on the bed or perched on a windowsill watching the world go by. But she’s never far from the action either, especially when food is involved. She’s always the first to arrive at mealtime and knows exactly what the treat tub sounds like. Give it a shake and you’ll have her full attention in seconds.
When it’s time to play, Peridot lights up. She loves racing through tunnels, pouncing on crinkle balls, chasing toy mice and launching herself at dangly toys with playful enthusiasm. She’s fun, energetic and always up for a good game.
And when it’s time for affection? Butt scratches are her absolute weakness, instantly switching on a loud, happy purr, while head and ear scratches will earn you the sweetest little headbutts if you dare to stop too soon. Find that perfect spot and she’ll often flop right over in pure bliss, completely relaxed and soaking up every second.
Peridot has grown up around children and absolutely loves them, quickly learning that they bring treats, toys and plenty of attention. She has also been raised alongside her toy poodle foster sister. While it took a little time at first, she soon discovered just how much fun they could have together, and now the two happily wrestle, chase and play. With slow and gentle introductions, she would suit a home with a friendly dog.
Having grown up with other cats, Peridot has also recently welcomed more kitty siblings into her home and immediately stepped into a “big sister” role, showing them the ropes when it comes to food, playtime and affection. She would love a home with another friendly feline companion, but would also be perfectly content soaking up all the love as your one and only.
To keep this gorgeous little lady safe (and protect local wildlife), Peridot will need to be an indoor only kitty.
