This is Rowdy! He's an older gentleman at 11 years old. He is not very active but does enjoy a nice leisurely stroll. He seems to have some vision loss and possibly some hearing loss too.
To begin with, Rowdy can be a bit intimidated by large dogs, but has proved to warm up to his large siblings in his foster home and even likes to do a little bouncing about from time to time. He has even proved to get along well with the resident cat!
Rowdy is shy in the beginning due to the fact he is vertically challenged and everyone seems quite big and scary. However, he will very soon warm up to you and will prove to be a loving, loyal dog.
Rowdy’s ideal household would be a nice quiet place with no small children and somewhere with a large comfy bed or a spot on the couch next to his human. He would be thrilled to live out his days having a snooze in the sun, in a loving, relaxed home.
Rowdy is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatment.
