Ruby – 5YO – Border Collie - female - $400

Hi! My name is Ruby and I’m about the most chilled out Border Collie you’ll ever meet. I’m a bit of a dork and have one floppy ear from when I had an ear infection a few years ago. I totally cute and my foster mum says I’m a bit of a princess. I feel very undignified when I get bathed but I will allow it!

I love people! Seriously though, cuddles are my fave! I love to sit at your feet all day and love to be close to you. Games are great too! I love them so much I can be a little nippy when I get over-excited but I don’t mean to hurt you. I just have so much fun and forget my humans aren’t other doggies. I love making new doggy friends, especially down at the beach. Everyone is so fun to meet! I even made my foster sister love me (she doesn’t like many other dogs).

I could run up and down the beach chasing waves all day, that would be the absolute best day out. My foster mum says I can be a bit cheeky though and she thinks I have selective hearing because I don’t always come back when called. I don’t really get along with cats, well they don’t really like me because I am just so obsessed! I don’t like to listen when there are cats or other small pets around because they are SO interesting and I just want to play but I’m not sure how to play with them. So I would probably do better in a house where there wouldn’t be any small animals around.

I’m really smart and can get bored easily. I have picked up a bad habit of digging so I need someone to help me out and make sure I can be mentally or physically stimulated for most of the day. I’d love to go home with someone who has another doggy friend for me to play with all day or someone who can spend a lot of time with me taking me for walks and playing games.

Ruby is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
