Meet Scootie!
Scootie is a 13-year-old, very chatty lady looking for a calm and loving home to spend her golden years. Sadly, her owner passed away, and her world was turned upside down. While she’s safe in foster care, what she truly needs is a quiet home of her own.
Scootie is in good health and up to date with all her vet work, including a recent dental where she had a clean and a few teeth removed—this hasn’t slowed her down at all, and she still thoroughly enjoys her meals!
A regal older girl, Scootie loves the simple things in life: a soft, comfy bed, sunny spots by the window, and watching the birds go by. While she’s not overly demanding, she does enjoy gentle companionship and will happily follow you around just to be near you.
As she’s getting older, Scootie will need a little help keeping her coat looking its best. She also has some arthritis, which is common at her age, but it’s well managed with a daily supplement added to her food.
Scootie would suit a patient, understanding cat lover—ideally someone who is home often and can give her the time she needs to settle in and feel safe again. She’s strictly an indoor cat and would thrive in a quiet household without young children or lots of activity.
This lovely girl still has so much love to give and could enjoy several more happy years in the right home. All she’s asking for is comfort, companionship, and a peaceful place to call her own.
Scootie is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
