Meet Sooty!
Sooty has a big personality and a loves to be apart of the fun and action around him. Sooty loves playing fetch with his favourite balls, exploring his surroundings and keeping his humans entertained. Sooty likes to be kept busy, when he's feeling bored he can become destructive by ripping up toys. Sooty will need a family that understand the importance of mental stimulation, enrichment and ongoing training. Sooty likes to hunt for his toys around the house, his foster mum finds rotating his toys and supervising him while playing with them to make sure they don't end up in the graveyard is important.
Sooty is good with children and other dogs, he would be happy to live as an only dog or another suitable canine companion. Sooty likes to be involved in all aspects of the household, he would love his forever family to include him in as much as possible, with plenty of interaction and love. Sooty is still learning his boundaries and will need this reinforced in his forever home. Sooty is crate-trained and toilet trained, and has learnt some basic commands in foster care. Sooty will benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training, and lucky for you, he LOVES treats. Sooty hasn't mastered recall just yet, so off-lead adventures are a no go.
Sooty has a sensitive tummy and needs a digestive care diet as part of his regular routine. He also enjoys eating things he shouldn’t, so his forever home will need to be vigilant in ensuring harmful items are kept safety out of reach. Due to Sooty's breed, regular grooming is a non-negotiable and ongoing monitoring of his dental care.
Sooty is desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccination, flea and worm treatments.
