G'day people, my name is Sunny and I'm searching for a special home to call my own. I'm wondering if your home might be the perfect one for me?

It didn't take my foster family long to discover what a lovely lad I am, pretty handsome too even if I do say so myself! I'm sure you could love me too, it's hard not to, but let's just get one thing straight right from the get go...food is my first love so please understand that if you don't prioritise serving my meals, I will probably try and steal yours, or trip you over (in the nicest possible way!). And I like the wet stuff much more than the dry biscuits. I have good manners and always show my appreciation with a firm nudge of your hand when you place down my bowl.

Now, after breakfast, I like to take a little run up and down the house, I like to keep myself in tip top shape and even the vet said I have a very athletic physique! Not only am I very fit and a fast runner, I’m also great at jumping. My foster mum often seems surprised at just how far I can jump!

I have a very sweet nature and I’m always gentle with my humans. Although I’m not the kind of cat that will curl up on your lap every evening, I love to welcome you home and follow you around the house. I like to know what’s going on, who’s come to visit or what’s cooking in the kitchen! Every now and then I will surprise you and come and sit on your lap, that’s just my way of reminding you we’re good friends. I'm quite relaxed when I get picked up and enjoy a bit of a cuddle.

While in foster care I’ve shared the space with kittens and although at first I tell them to keep their distance, I soon realise they’re not so bad and playing with them can be fun, and so can sneaking some of their dinner! My foster mum thinks I’d be ok with other pets but it might take me a few weeks to adjust but I’m pretty relaxed and I give others their space. I’d also be fine as a solo cat, patiently waiting for you to come home from work and greeting you at the door with a friendly reminder that it’s dinner time!

I love playing with toys. I’m a big fan of the laser, probably because I’m so fit, I can chase the laser up and down the hallway for many laps and never seem to get bored of it! I hope that you like toys too so we can play together! And if you like buying things that come in boxes then I’ll take the box off your hands no problem! It will become my new favourite toy. I also love a good cosy cat nap and once I’ve decided on my favourite spot, you can find me napping there daily. And if not there, in my new box! In foster care I have been kept as an indoor only cat, and I will need to continue this in my forever home for my own safety and the safety of our wildlife.
