Tess came to us a few months ago a little skinny and in need of a new home. She’s a big loving, silly at times, lazy and affectionate. Overall a great dog to have. She is a rather large solid dog so would need to have owners who are capable enough to deal with her, she’s a lovely dog to take for a walk, she has very good lead work and has walked very well with our pram alongside her. She isn’t a dog who is suited to small animals as she has a pretty high prey drive on her. Likes to chase small things. So no cat owners/chicken/rabbit/rats/birds/any other small animals I missed need not apply. She was fine with our 1 year old baby but smaller toddlers and children maybe knocked over by her as she’s a larger dog. Tess can show signs of nervousness around people, she’s cringed and shied away from me a good few times so making sure you give her time to settle and get comfortable with you will be important. She’s just a dog who’s willing to please most of all, she still has a few cheeky traits, we’ve gone through a bed or two out at the dog ranch, but other than that she’s been a pleasure to have around.
Tess has had ACL surgery on one of her back legs so her forever home would need to be willing to have her on supplements for future arthritis.
Tess is microchipped, desexed, up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
